DESCRIPTION

The food supplement Punalpin® PLUS has been developed for men who wish to optimize their sperm quality. The product is based on pomegranate, galangal and aronia. Furthermore, the minerals selenium and zinc have been added.

Punalpin® PLUS is produced by the Danish company Nerthus ApS and is the result of 7 years targeted product development and research, including testing at a fertility clinic.

Selenium and zinc

Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis, while zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. The content of selenium and zinc in the recommended daily dose of Punalpin® PLUS corresponds to 33% and 40% of the reference intake (RI) of the two minerals, respectively. The reference intake is defined as the amount of a given vitamin or mineral that an adult consumes on average per day.

Pomegranate and galangal

Pomegranate and galangal are selected from superior sources with a high content of punicalagins and acetoxychavicol acetate (ACA), respectively. The pomegranate extract is supplied by a leading European manufacturer of botanical extracts. Galangal rhizomes are processed according to a patented method developed by Nerthus ApS, which has made it possible to preserve ACA and other semi-volatile bioactive compounds of the fresh rhizomes during the manufacturing processes as well as in the finished product. Pomegranate and galangal are found in the same doses in Punalpin® PLUS (measured from the content of marker compounds) as in the original Punalpin® product.

All-in-one tablet

Punalpin® PLUS combines all active ingredients in one tablet. Our patented processing method of galangal protects the fragile compound ACA from gradual degradation by other components in the tablet formulation.
