Midlife Balance product information

The food supplement Midlife Balance is intended for women experiencing menopausal symptoms.

The product is based on a patented combination of pomegranate extract and galangal rhizome. Aronia berry powder and the minerals selenium and zinc have been added to this composition. Aronia berry supports the gut bacteria responsible for breakdown of pomegranate compounds (punicalagins) to active substituents (urolithins). Selenium and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Both pomegranate and galangal are selected from superior sources with a high content of punicalagins and acetoxychavicol acetate, respectively. Aronia is produced from own-bred wild-type plants with a unique anthocyanin profile.

Midlife Balance is produced by the Danish company Nerthus ApS.

Ingredients (per 6 tablets):

Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.), fruit extract 1000 mg containing min. 300 mg punicalagins.

Greater galangal (Alpinia galanga (L.) Willd.), rhizome 550 mg containing min. 16 mg acetoxychavicol acetate (ACA).

Aronia (mixture of Aronia melanocarpa (Michx.) Elliott, A. prunifolia (Marshall) Rehder, A. arbutifolia (L.) Pers., A. mitschurinii Skvortsov et Maitulina), fruit pulp 300 mg containing min. 14 mg anthocyanins.

Minerals: Zinc bisglycinate (4 mg Zn; 40% RI*), selenium-enriched yeast (18 µg Se; 33% RI*).

Bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone.

Anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (veg.).

Glazing agent: ethyl cellulose, glycerol, talc.

*RI = Reference Intake.

Daily dosage: 3 tablets in the morning and 3 tablets in the evening, together with a meal.
